Google Chrome is now available. The new web browser is based on open source applications. There are different tabs for different applications (e-mail, web, calendar, documents, video, and more.) This 38-page comic style explanation includes "sad tabs" and "memory hogs" -- and explains that when a bug or memory hog is discovered in one application, you shut down one tab, not the whole browser. The comic explains that WebKit is the open source rendering engine used for Google Chrome. Google GEARS is for software developers. Well done. Worth reading the whole book.
